JPMorgan, Royal Bank of Canada, and Australia's ANZ bank had been working on a permissioned blockchain payments system developed using Quorum - JPMorgan's proprietary DLT solution built on the Ethereum network. Now, 75 new banks have joined their blockchain payments trial and aim to process $14,500 in payment per day. This amount will be increased as more banks join the pilot.
