"Bitcoin wealth" appears to be quite concentrated as research from market intelligence group, Diar, shows that 87% of all bitcoins are owned by only 0.7% of BTC addresses. However, data also indicates that most of the bitcoins are held by exchanges on behalf of their users. Confidence in the flagship cryptocurrency also appears to be quite high as many of the wallets owning large amounts of bitcoin have not sold it and have bought more during the bear market.
