Published on CoinnounceThe Dutch financial criminal investigative service has shut down a bitcoin transaction mixer called bestmixer.io and seized their website in a crackdown on unlicensed money services operating in the country. This is the first public seizure of a bitcoin mixing service and it seems that it is intended to make a point that not only dark market places such as the Silk Road are subject to criminal enforcement when it comes to cryptocurrency.
