US-based cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex has acquired a 10 percent ownership stake in Malta-based blockchain firm Palladium. This announcement has come shortly after Bittrex and Palladium partnered to launch the world's first Initial Convertible Coin Offering (ICCO), an effort to improve the current ICO model. Palladium aims to develop a "unified" platform to bridge the gap between fiat and cryptocurrency payment systems.
