DFINITY, a Switzerland-based blockchain startup has reportedly received $102 million in funding to assist in the development of what's being called an "Internet Computer." The investment round was led by Silicon Valley venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz and Polychain Capital, a $1 billion crypto fund. Like most second or third generation blockchain-based platforms, Dfinity aims to resolve the scalability problems faced by the existing blockchain networks.
