"Big Four" professional services firm Deloitte recently revealed that 40% of the executives it surveyed in the telecom, IT, and media industries said their companies were planning to invest millions of dollars in blockchain-related projects. 59 percent of Deloitte’s survey respondents believe that blockchain technology has the potential to “disrupt” their industry. However, 39% of Deloitte's survey respondents said blockchain is "overhyped", while citing concerns regarding the volatile nature of crypto tokens issued via blockchain networks.
