Andrew Yang, a second-generation Chinese-American, is accepting Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) donations for his US 2020 presidential campaign. Yang’s policies also support the idea of a universal basic income (UBI), which is a proposed unconditional payment program for a country’s citizens in which they would receive a certain amount of money each month, without having to work. This concept has also made its way into the crypto world.
