On December 28th, Hacker News, a website focused on updates related to cybersecurity issues, revealed that PayPal had banned its accounts without giving any reason for doing so. According to a tweet from the official Hacker News Twitter account, leading payment processing company PayPal had “permanently banned” all of Hacker News’ accounts “without mentioning any reason” while also holding (or freezing) the news outlet’s “wallet funds” for 180 days.
