The first trading day of the second quarter of the Eastern Time, the three major U.S. stock indexes fell for the second consecutive day and collectively fell more than 4%. S&P hit the biggest one-day drop in nearly two weeks, and the biggest second-quarter drop since the Great Depression of the United States in the 1930s.
