Compromised Facebook accounts were being sold via the dark web for cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, bitcoin cash, and privacy-oriented monero. Although the listing appears to have been removed now, the seller may have been selling some of the large number of recently hacked Facebook accounts. The estimated value of the 50 million hacked Facebook accounts is around $150 million to $600 million.
