In its efforts to foster sustainable mobility, the German motor giant Mercedes-Benz has joined forces with London-based blockchain company Circulor to launch a blockchain pilot experiment to track CO2 emissions efficiently, said the official media release on 30th January 2020. In line with Startup Autobahn, a platform that offers opportunities to young tech companies in the automobile sector, the project will leverage blockchain to attain transparency in CO2 emissions in the cobalt supply chain.
