Lightning Network (LN), a second layer payment solution to enable faster crypto payments, has been integrated into a vending machine developed by a Brazilian programmer. The LN-enabled Bitcoin (BTC) payment processor dispenses Coca-Cola after it receives a quick payment in the cryptocurrency. Ongoing development of the LN and its adoption appear to be moving steadily as 4,000 merchants are now able to use CoinGate's payment services that support LN.
