Two of Barclays’ former traders claim in their LinkedIn profiles that they are managing the development of a “digital asset” platform for the bank. One of them even said that they had been hired to create a crypto-related business plan. However, a Barclays representative stated that the bank has no plans of launching a cryptocurrency trading desk.
