Selling things for BTC is becoming increasingly popular

As Bitcoin (BTC) dynamics continue to grow, some people prefer to sell their stuff for crypto than for fiat money.

Jason Williams, co-founder of Morgan Creek Digital, a digital asset investment firm run by Morgan Creek Capital, sold his car for Bitcoin.

Williams announced on Twitter that he sold his 2007 Chevrolet Suburban car for 0.4 BTC, which was worth approximately $7,300 at the time of publication. According to Edmunds.com, the used 2007 Suburban model costs about $7,000, while the new 2021 model costs over $50,000, according to the official Chevrolet website.

If the price of Bitcoin breaks $130,000, as some predicted, there is a chance that Williams will sell his 13-year-old car for as much money as the new model.
