Tesla allows DOGE payment. But with conditions

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that Tesla now accepts Dogecoin ( DOGE ) as payment for the company's goods. DOGE-covered products in Tesla's store can be purchased by sending DOGE to Tesla's Dogecoin wallet.

While it accepts DOGE, the company also clarified that it does not accept any other cryptocurrencies. The company says it cannot detect other assets besides DOGE on its website. The company tells customers that "digital assets other than Dogecoin sent to Tesla will not be returned to the purchaser."

Furthermore, items purchased with DOGE "cannot be returned, exchanged or cancelled." Tesla considers all sales made through DOGE to be final, which cannot be exchanged for cash.

Dogecoin creator Billy Markus immediately responded to the announcement, rallying the Dogecoin community. "Good Dogecoin community, you know what to do!" - tweeted Markus .

The community is quick to respond. Some tweeted that they had already bought items using DOGE. Just minutes after the announcement, Twitter user Dogecoin_GER had already posted a screenshot of his online order, saying: "Tesla Tequila on its way to Germany!"
