New Road Map of Libra

Libra's developers have published on Facebook a new road map outlining the steps towards the launch of the main network.

The Libra Foundation's update, published on October 2, highlights various points of interest for both developers and those who support protocol nodes.

Currently operating as a testnet, Libra aims to solve technical problems before the launch of the mainnet, but without an official launch date.

Libra developers have also created a staging environment called "Pre-Mainnet". Currently it is only available to partner nodes to enable them to connect to each other. Several partners "have already implemented their nodes and commissioned them to communicate", says the roadmap

This week it turned out that several potential node operators had concerns about their regulatory position through involvement in the project. Earlier, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg seemed reluctant to confirm the earlier assumptions that Libra would start operations at the end of 2020.
