New Leander In volume of Bitcoin Transactions

For the first time since 2013, the United States is no longer a major recipient of US dollar priced bitcoins (BTCs) as Singapore took the lead in 2019.

According to the Crystal Blockchain analytics service, as of December 5, 2019, users from all over the world have sent USD 8.58 billion worth of BTCs to Singapore. Users in Singapore received more dollars through Bitcoin last year than anywhere else in the world.

In 2014-2018, the United States ranked first, but dropped to 2nd place, receiving $7.46 billion in BTC, according to Crystal Blockchain.

However, Singapore did not send the most money through Bitcoin last year. The island country and host of BitMEX Seychelles sent the largest amount of Bitcoin in 2019, worth USD 10.07bn and ranked second in terms of overall transaction volume, according to Crystal Blockchain data.

The United States was ranked third on the list by Bitcoin transaction volume, which is a decline for the country that previously ranked highest for five consecutive years. In 2013, Bitcoin in the United Kingdom received and flowed most money.
