New Bitcoin Miner

The world's leading mining equipment manufacturer Bitmain has launched its new Antminer T19 Bitcoin Mining IC (ASIC).

As announced on June 1, the new Antminer T19 from Bitmain features an SHA256 speed of 84 terahasha/second with a 3% margin of error and an energy efficiency of 37.5 joules/terahasha with a 5% margin of error.

The new ASIC model will be sold on the official website of the manufacturer from today and shipping will start between 21st and 30th June.

The chips used in the new device are the same as those used in the Antminer S19 and S19 Pro, but it also uses a new APW12 power supply and updated firmware. These changes are said to allow for faster start-up and optimisation of the mining experience.

The T19's announcement follows recent community reports that the recently launched Bitmain Antminer S17+ ASIC mine was defective.

Shortly after early May critics, Bitmain confirmed that many of the ASICs in the series had serious problems.
