Last Month Of CGEX

Coinone Global Exchange (CGEX), a Malta-based cryptographic exchange launched by the main South Korean exchange Coinone, will complete its services in mid-September.

CGEX placed the notice of termination on the homepage of its website, adding that it has decided that it can no longer maintain the service.

According to the announcement of 12 August, the exchange will terminate the service at 2:00 a.m. UTC on 18 September. CGEX was launched in October 2018.

In a notification CGEX warned its customers that all assets in user accounts should be withdrawn by the closing date, as no further withdrawals would be available after this time. Personal data about users, including transactional data, will be properly destroyed upon termination of the service.

The news of the CGEX solution follows prior notification of a temporary solution to the trading and trading services on the platform. On 17 June, CGEX announced for the first time that it would temporarily terminate its trading and deposit services from 17 July to "prepare for a new paradigm shift in cryptographic currency exchange rates" and to launch a new trading platform. At that time, the stock exchange said that the new CGEX would be introduced in the third quarter of 2019.
