Lack Of Trust In Libra

Almost half of Americans and British people would not trust Facebook with regard to the long-awaited stable Coin Libra, the technology and information platform focused on the Telecoms.com market.

Citing a Viber study, the info point reveals that 49% of UK and US users said they wouldn't trust the social media giant for their own digital currency. These respondents indicated that they would not trust Facebook at all with regard to maintaining the security of their private information while using Libra.

Since the announcement, Libra has raised concerns in many jurisdictions around the world and has attracted a lot of attention in the financial world. Although Facebook claims that Libra Calibra's associated digital wallet "will have strong protection to keep your money and your information safe," experts and policy makers have expressed concerns about the privacy and security of users' data.

Last week, G7 finance ministers warned that cryptographic currencies like Libra could disrupt the global financial system if they were not strictly regulated. French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said that the G7 "cannot accept private companies issuing their own currencies without democratic control".
