Companies work together to create a Blockchain-based platform to optimize the processing of hotel commissions. In particular, the product is designed to track and account for the commissions due to hotels when travellers buy services through reservation agencies.
Travelport and IBM are working under the IBM Garage Consultation Program - a program for customers who want to experiment with new technologies and find new ways to build applications - with industry stakeholders to integrate the project into an active pilot program.
