Everex has obtained a full Money Transmitter License from the New Jersey regulator, allowing the company to test its services in the United States.
The license allegedly authorizes Everex to conduct activities such as peer-to-peer (p2p) cryptographic currency exchange, including with exchanges in the United States. Everex will also be able to make block network payments and cryptocross-border transfers of p2p currency in a stable currency, both domestically and internationally.
According to the Everex blog entry of 25 March, the company intended to integrate with banks and external e-commerce service providers and obtain a permit to operate in several states of the USA in 2019.
In early April, the central banks of Myanmar and Thailand approved a money transfer system based on the Ether (ETH) Everex network. Veerathai Santiprabhob, President of the Central Bank of Thailand, said that "this project is an important step forward for more than 3 million employees in Thailand who have been able to use unsecured channels so far.
