The K-drama series entitled "Romantic Hacker" will be aired online in October throughout South Korea. It focuses on topics related to crypto and blockchain and is linked to a romantic story. The show is scheduled to be filmed in August.
The story follows the hacking into the Kryptonian crypto platform called "Jeju International Crypto Exchange". The main character will fight against a gang of highly skilled hackers who try to steal money from the exchange.
Although the talent agency responsible for hiring actors and actresses for the series stated that it will be a story of "action comedy" based on crypto, the media believe that the story may have a romantic overtone because of the K-drama title.
Romantic Hacker is the first K-drama series to be aired in South Korea.
