Church for sale. Bitcoin accepted

A 150-year-old English church is sold for $1.5 million and the seller accepts payment in Bitcoin (BTC).

According to Rightmove, the UK's main online real estate portal and property website, the seller has placed an 18th century church converted into a seven bedroom property for sale and is willing to accept Bitcoin as payment.

While the property unit is valued at £1.2 million ($1.5 million), the final price at Bitcoin is to be agreed and confirmed with the seller and will depend on the market price of Bitcoin at the time of sale, auction notes. During the press time, the selling price is worth 182.34 Bitcoins.

Built in 1871, the converted residential property is the former Church of St. John the Baptist.

According to recent reports, the United Kingdom was friendly to cryptographic payments. Last week, Cryptopay's major local cryptographic wallet and debit card company announced that it would launch British pound transfers through a faster payment system that allegedly eliminated conversion fees for the euro.
