Bitcoin back above $60,000

The price of Bitcoin ( BTC ) crossed $61,000 on April 10 for the first time in almost a month. After the breakout, traders are starting to look at new resistance and support levels in the short term as optimism returns to the market.

In the near term, in addition to the record high around $61,800, there are three key bitcoin price levels to watch: USD 61188, USD 58387 and USD 53,000.

As long as the Bitcoin price stays above $58387 and tries to break above $61188, it is likely to reach a new record high in the foreseeable future.

If Bitcoin reaches a new record high, investors also predict that the altcoin market will decline slightly for now, at least until BTC starts to stagnate after reaching a new peak.

According to the pseudonymous trader "Rekt capital", the key for Bitcoin to cleanly reach a new record high in the coming days is to consolidate $58,000 as a support area.

The $58,000 level is an important area because it marks the peak of BTC's initial rise to the $60,000 resistance level in mid-February, as shown in the chart below.
