6000 of Bitcoin ATM's

The number of BTC (Bitcoin) ATMs installed worldwide has exceeded a new milestone, exceeding 6,000.

The CoinATMRadar online resource shows that there are currently 6,004 machines installed worldwide, more than 65% of which are located in the United States.

In addition, 108 machines were installed this month and data show that the average daily number of installed Bitcoin ATMs is 11 - the fastest pace this year.

More than three quarters of the machines installed worldwide are located in North America, almost 20% in Europe and only 2% in Asia. There are 3,924 ATMs in the United States, 653 in Canada and the top four countries are the United Kingdom and Austria with 272 and 189 respectively.

The total number of devices worldwide has increased by around 1000 since June, which shows that the industry is growing significantly. Bitcoin ATMs, sometimes called BTMs, allow users to purchase BTCs, while more than 35% of machines also have the ability to sell cryptographic data bidirectionally for cash.
