Libra Association, which oversees the previously unreleased Libra crypto, has selected a CFO and a Risk Director for this project.
Ian Jenkins, who draws on the experience of HSBC, Santander and Credit Suisse, will oversee the finances and risk management of Libra Network, as announced on October 15.
The news comes just days after the G7 multinational group explained that the project requires appropriate regulatory measures before it can be launched.
In June 2019. Libra entered the world stage with the publication of the White Paper, but then experienced many regulatory delays. Although the project published an updated White Paper in 2020, these changes have still not allayed US regulatory concerns.
In recent weeks, Libra has continued to build its framework behind the scenes with a number of updates.
